Beit Midrash Oz will be opening our doors over the summer for self-directed learning. Come hang out with local mensch and mentor, Alec Sachs. If you’ve been wanting to learn, either by yourself, with a friend or a few, Alec will be here to guide you along your journey. The Beit Midrash will be open Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons for you to explore the wellspring of Jewish thought and literature.
Meet Alec: Alexander (Alec) Sachs is a passionate student of the world. He taught Hebrew at Mt Scopus and worked on the Co-Curricular Jewish Education team for several years. He now studies law and politics during the day and Jewish texts at night. Alec is currently translating the second volume of a collection of quotes from the Babylonian Talmud with Margalya Press.
